COVID-19 and Finland travel restrictions
Finland has second lowest numbers of COVID-19 infections in Europe (2.9.2020). From 19.9.2020 the restrictions are set up for the citizens where there are more than 25 new infections per 100 000 population in the country. Lower than 25 new infections, there are no restrictions to enter in Finland.
Starting 22.11.2020 in cross-border traffic from countries which have over 25 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, it should be checked that the passenger carries a certificate of a negative coronavirus test result. The passenger would be required to obtain a certificate of a negative test result and display the certificate before boarding the vehicle. If this is done correctly, there won’t be any quarantine recquired. There are also new plans where The Finnish government is now thinking to have special corridors or travel bubbles to enter in country.
