Arctic Lakeland is located in Kainuu Region, Northeastern area in Finland.

This Digital (Online) Travel Workshop gathers together Suppliers from Vuokatti Region with services covering Adventure Tours, Accommodation, Canoeing, Cultural Events, Culture activities, culture tours, guiding, Animal Watching, Kayaking, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Golf, Gay Travel, Hiking, Ice Skating, Inclusive Travel, Multiactivities, National Parks, Nature Guiding, Outdoor Equipment Rentals, River Drafting, Sauna, Skiing, Snowshoe tours, Training Centres, Walking Tours, Wellness and Yoga, just to name a few.

PROGRAMME

The programme includes: Workshop from 09.00 to 17.00 o’clock Finnish time. ( – one hour 08.00 am to 4.00 pm in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain and UK ).

There is a special audio, microphone and video camera testing just before the event starts from 09.00 – 10.00 am. The testing area is located in the online platform in “Programme” section.

For Buyers the event is free of charge.

For Suppliers the participation fee is as follows:

Others: 1 Supplier attendance 350 euros + 24 % VAT if applicable
Others: Additional participant from the same company 150 euros + 24 % if applicable

DIGITAL PLATFORM

Easy registration and making a profile

When registering as a participant, make sure you choose the correct participant category. The categories are: Buyer, Supplier or Media. You need to agree on our privacy policy. Enter your company profile and personal data. In the networking profile, you describe your goals at the event and enter other networking relevant information in order to find the perfect networking match among all participants.

Prearranged Meetings

After creating the profile, you will receive an email confirmation that your registration will be reviewed. As soon as it has been accepted, you can start browsing other participants and message with them.

Both Offline and Online Buyers and Suppliers need to make a profile and request meetings between each other. This is especially necessary for Online participants.

The meeting calendars will be open 15.09.2022. Both Buyers and Suppliers will have possibility to make meeting requests until 7.11.2022. Then registration will be closed. All unconfirmed meetings are cancelled after 7.11.2022 from your meeting calendar.

After the meetings calendars are open, request appointments and react to incoming requests, accepting or rejecting them, to be able to fill up your schedule. When you request a meeting, the other person will receive an email where the request is shown. Participant can accept or reject meeting request. Then the one who requested will receive a message to his/hers email. If meeting request is approved that will be shown also in the meeting calendar.

All unapproved requests will be cancelled automatically after 5 days and you can request another potential meeting for the time slot.

Meetings are only one-to-one. No group meetings available. 

Each participant will have own appointment list. You can block time slots if you are not able to meet.

Buyers, please note different time zones between your home country and Finland.

It is essential to participate the Training Sessions where the digital platform function is explained. By registering to the event you guarantee that you have or you are able to use Google Chrome as browser. You need to test your computer functionality during one of our Testing Session concerning audio and camera functions. It is recommended to use operating system as Windows PC. There is a possibility to use smart telephone for conversations BUT you need to download the event digital system application.
