Chinese Tourist Welcome course

The Chinese Tourist Welcome is the most profound training course concerning Chinese travel motivs for outbound travel, marketing, sales and customer service. The training course is held in English.
•For Chinese International Travellers course goals are: 
–Providing participants with focused information based on scientific research and practical experiences about the special characteristics, needs, expectations and behaviour of Chinese travellers 
–Offering participants the opportunity to start the Chinese Tourist Welcome Quality Label process for a sustainble and succcesful engagement with the Chinese market 
–Enabling participants to adapt tourism and retail products and services, to develop adequate strategies and facilitate quality assurance
–An examination is placed at the end of the training to confirm the learning outcomes. All successful participants receive a personal certificate as Certified Chinese Tourists Welcoming Quality Host 
–CTW Quality Hosts are listed on the relevant Chinese COTRI websites and have the right to facilitate the CTW Quality Label
    application of their company/organization.

    The Certification is valid for two years and  can be renewed with a branch-specific CTW Advanced.      

•Each module includes:
–PowerPoint based presentation 
–Group Activities connected to the content of the module 
–Discussion of group activities results 


•The course is structured in 7 modules (90 min. per lesson), and addresses the following topics:
  Day 1                
        Background, Introductions and Discussion of the programme

        Module 1   Chinese tourists background  information        

        Module 2  Chinese cultural backpack         

        Module 3  Chinese tourists’ motivation and behaviour        

        Module 4  Product adaptation and  marketing       

•Day 2                
        Introduction to Day 2

        Module 5  Chinese language and customs        

        Module 6  Service and Ambience        

        Module 7  Product Development and Marketing Plan        

        Examination  15.00 – 15.30

        Award of Certificates and Conclusion 



•Certificate 2 years (possible to renew)
•Access to Chinese database (1 year)
•Listed the most important contacts for Chinese tour operators 2 years
•Discount for participating CITM 2016 and COTTM 2016 marketing events in China
