ETOA offers wide variety of services for members and non-members

The European Tour Operator Association ETOA organizes several interesting sales and other B2B events for it's members and sometimes for non-members too. Here we are introducing two most interesting ones from destination point of view:

1. City-Fair in June

2. Travel Showcase event

ToolBox –travel marketing & consulting is a member in ETOA and official partner promoting ETOA events in Baltic Sea Region and Scandinavia.

ETOA organizes City Fair - its annual travel trade workshop - at the Old Billingsgate in London in June. City Fair gathers together a great number of Buyers not only from Great Britain but from other countries as well.

During the workshop the Sellers have the possibility to negotiate personally with a minimum of 15 Buyers during the one-to-one pre-scheduled meetings. 19th is Gala Dinner, 20th the Workshop and a new combined event is City Tourism Seminar on 21st.

This high-quality B2B event gives the chance for networking with many European colleagues also outside the workshop; the night before the event there will be, in the historical Tower of London, a welcome reception with food and drinks for all the Sellers and Buyers.

The fee includes

A table, one appointment list/table, lunch during the workshop day, the welcome reception the night before, support during the registration process. 

The fee does not include

Travel expenses, accommodation, meals.

Travel Showcase is having different approach promoting destination and there are two options to choose from. Travel Showcase is more a workshop including FAM trip as pre or post tour programme.

First option:

This proposal outlines the offer for the organisation of a B2B workshop and familiarisation trip in Finnish travel destination in 2016 with an aim to promote it to international travel buyers.

Showcase.travel Offer: 

  • Promotion of the event through marketing and PR campaigns
  • Final list of 30 buyers
  • Event branding
  • Application of bespoke appointment system to arrange workshop
  • Account managers dedicated to your event
  • Up to two staff members attending the event
  • Comprehensive post-event buyer feedback
  • Membership of ETOA – European tourism association cobranding with all associated benefits

 

Client Responsibilities:

 

  • Promotion of the workshop and invitation of a varied range of suppliers
  • Management of approximately 50 supplier registrations
  • Workshop venue
  • Return transport for buyers and staff
  • Accommodation and board for buyers and staff
  • Programme of familiarisation visits and social networking functions
  • All local arrangements 

£15,000

+ £100 per any additional buyer delegate recruited above the agreed 30

 

 

Second option:

This proposal outlines the offer for the organisation of a London based destination roadshow showcasing and promoting your destination to international travel buyers. The event would take place in 2016.

Showcase.travel offer:

 

  • Organisation of a showcasing evening in a London based meeting space:

Format of the event will be a drinks reception and a seated dinner (preferably destination related) with destination product presentations throughout.

  • Promotion of the event through marketing and PR campaigns
  • Final list of 20 buyers
  • Event branding
  • Account managers dedicated to your event
  • Up to two staff members attending the event
  • Comprehensive post-event buyer feedback
  • Membership of ETOA – European tourism association cobranding with all associated benefits

 

Client Responsibilities:

 

  • Promotion of the event and invitation of a varied range of suppliers to promote ____
  • Presentations of relevant new product
  • Your representatives London flight and accommodation arrangements
