St. Peter Line will be in the Sochi Olympics

St. Peter Line was hosting yesterday, 5th September 2013, a traditional Crayfish Party on M/S Princess Maria. During the event, St. Peter Line CEO Sergey Kotenev announced that both St. Peter Line ships will be hosting olympic athletes and visitors in Sochi Olympics between January and February 2014. The ships will be operating in the Baltic Sea again in March 2014.

ST.PETER LINE: Crayfish Party Aboard Princess Maria

ST.PETER LINE Company is continuously increasing its presence on the Finnish market.  This year almost 38 000 Finnish citizens have already travelled onboard ST.PETER LINE Company’s ferries.  All in all, during three years the ferry operator has carried over 220 000 Finnish tourists.

The total number of passengers carried by the company has exceeded 1.8 million.

Nowadays two ST.PETER LINE ships call to the port of Helsinki. Princess Maria for a route St. Petersburg – Helsinki – St. Petersburg and Princess Anastasia on a route St. Petersburg – Helsinki – Stockholm – Tallinn - St. Petersburg. 

In 2013 both ferries have successfully gone through the obligatory certification procedure by Lloyd's Register International Classification Society. During the certification special attention was devoted to rescue and safety equipment as well as to technical condition of the ships.

In 2012 ST.PETER LINE have brought to the port of Helsinki over 643 000 passengers which is 30% more than in 2011. In 2013 ST.PETER LINE is planning, at least repeat the successful dynamics of the previous years and we have all the prerequisites to achieve that.

Firstly, there is a growing demand for ST.PETER LINE’s cruise products: during the first six months of the year Princess Maria ferry has already carried 116, 813 passengers. In June only Princess Maria has registered over 27 000 passengers which is 25.67% more than in June 2012.

Secondly, travelling with ST.PETER LINE Finnish tourist can enjoy hassle free  stay in Russia without visa. This is a unique opportunity for all Finns and tourists from all over the world to visit St. Petersburg, its imperial palaces, wonderful museums and luxurious theatres.  

Finally, St. Petersburg regularly hosts a great number of cultural, business and sports events that can be interesting for a very wide range of visitors.
