The Discover Finland-Estonia-Sweden Media 2026 Pre and Post Tours programmes will be implemented in January 2026 at the same time as the Matka 2026 Travel Fair.
You will be able to attend 5-6 attractive and high-quality tours/visits in Estonia, Finland and Sweden, the duration of which is from half a day to 3 days (2 nights).
The tours are available for some 30 media guests who represent traditional travel media, freelance journalists, social channels, influencer marketers, TV and radio journalists.
Pre- and post-tours are provided by tourism areas, cooperation between several tourism areas or larger tourism companies that have offerings for different nationalities and customer groups.
There will be six media tours in January 2026. Tours will be listed here not later than September 2025.
Media representatives
We invite travel and/or lifestyle bloggers, influencers and journalist globally to attend our Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Media Tours 2026 programme in January 2026. At the same time there is the biggest Nordic Travel Fair, Matka 2026. The tours we provide will discover Estonia, Finland and Sweden. The tours are free of charge. There will be costs covering your transportation arriving to Helsinki, where all the tours start and possible additional accommodation costs in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
We need more information regarding your interest of registration for different official tours. We have preliminary tours available. All tours are going to be visible in our event website. Also you can ask for your personal copy by sending an email to .
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. This is not the registration site for Matka 2026 Travel Fair. This is the registration site only for Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Media programmes.
2. You can participate in as many tours as possible during the time range. Usually there is time to participate in 2 – 3 tours.
3. Our Hosted Tour programme includes travel/transportation in/out Helsinki to final destination, accommodation, meals, excursions and hosting destination services.
4. Our Hosted Tour programme does not include: your transportation from your home country to Helsinki e.g. your flight ticket to Helsinki and back, shopping costs during these tours and transfers to/from dispatching point and your accommodation. See later DEPARTURE FOR PRE AND POST TOURS.
APPROVAL PROCESS FOR PRE AND POST TOURS
The process of acceptance is as follows:
1. Your registration here in the Hosted Tour site is necessary
2. Please indicate in this registration site your primary and secondary wish of the tour. We proceed your requests for both tours simultaneously. The approval for your tour request will be done by the hosting destination(s). It takes around 1 – 2 weeks max. to receive approval. It is important you put as much information as possible about your company and yourself. Also the reason why you are interested in these tours. It is good to remember that there are limited number of places available for each tour. Normally it is from 4 – 10 places/each tour.
3a. Approval
If you receive an approval, we will provide you with more practical information. The information needed: Date of Birth (DOB), your passport number, your name as it is written in passport or European Union Identity Card, gender, your shoe size, your outfit size for outdoor activities, any special diets or allergies we should be aware of.
3b. Disapproval
Sometimes you are not getting immediate approval from the hosting destination, because the places are limited. Therefore we are asking for two choices of the tours. If both choices are disapproved, we are able to add other available tours. This process is on until 31.12.2024.
CANCELLATIONS
When you are approved and accepted for Pre or Post tours, the cancellation without any cancellation fee is until 19.12.2025. After that the cancellation fee is 250 euros (+ VAT if applicable).
AIRLINE OR TRAIN TICKETS
If the tour includes flight or train transportation taking you to the destination, you will receive the ticket by email. It is necessary that you put your personal email address when registering.
DEPARTURE FOR TOURS
We have several dispatching and departure stops for tours as follows:
1. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Those tours which includes flights. There is no transfer included to Hosted Tour programme to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. You will receive information beforehand how to get to the airport. Our representative will be at the airport 1,5 hour prior to departure in Departure Hall with the sign “Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Tour 2025”
2. Kiasma Contemporary Art Museum Bus Stop. Kiasma is located very centrally in Helsinki. We use mainly this departure point for different Pre and Post tours where the main transportation is bus and the location is not far away from Helsinki. We have dispatcher there for each tour and we are there 30 minutes prior to departure. The dispatcher has a sign of “Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Tour 2025″.
3. Helsinki Railway Station. Some tours use Helsinki Railway Station as departure point when using train as the main transportation. We have dispatcher there for each tour and we are there 30 minutes prior to departure. The dispatcher has a sign of ” Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Tour 2025 “.
4. Katajanokka Harbour, Katajanokanlaituri 8, 00160 Helsinki. Pre and Post Tour to Tallinn depart from this harbour. There are good tram connections from Helsinki city centre. Tram number 5 takes you from the Helsinki Railway Station to the Harbour. Remember that you need to be in the terminal around 1 hour prior to departure. The dispatcher has a sign of “Discover Estonia-Finland-Sweden Tour 2025”. The dispatcher will deliver for you the Boarding Passes. Please bring with you the passport or European Union Idendity Card. The currency in Estonia is euro and in Sweden Swedish Crown.

The private Hotel Arthur is located in Helsinki city center right next to the Central Railway Station. The profits from Hotel Arthur are used to support activities for children and young people through the Helsinki YMCA.

Suppliers
Themes and customer segments Tourist destinations and companies can launch their new products or present existing ones using different themes and customer segments. These include e.g. certain summer or winter activity presentation, wellness theme, families with children, a well-known person or presentation of the anniversary of the issue, luxury tourism, culture and events, etc. Participating companies and destinations can be part of a larger tour. In addition to target and company presentations, we are looking for ready-made product packages for sale.
Organizer’s responsibilities The organizer’s task is to plan a “fully hosted” programme that fits the schedule, where he is responsible for the group’s transportation, accommodation, food, programme execution and all incurred costs.

Price:
2 200 € + VAT as an arrangement fee for one pre- or post-tour programme. 3,500 € + VAT if you like to organize 2 Media Tours (this is a new price category).
The price above is valid when the hosting destination or company has sent it’s itinerary to ToolBox Consulting representative not later than 31.8.2025.
If the tour is sent to ToolBox Consulting between 1.9 – 30.9.2025 there will be additional fee 150€ in each category.
If the tour is sent to ToolBox Consulting between 1.10 – 31.10.2025 there will be additional fee 300€ in each category.
If the tour is sent to ToolBox Consulting between 1.11 – 30.11.2025 there will be additional fee 450€ in each category.
If the tour is sent to ToolBox Consulting between 1.12 – 31.12.2025 there will be additional fee 600€ in each category.
