Brand Process

There are clear differences between company or product branding and destination branding. The latter is more challenging because there are so many different interest groups or stakeholders ( local people, businesses, authorities or industry itself ) which can affect the final brand.

ToolBox approach is starting from existing image information, strengths and weaknesses. The most important factor is the competitors. Limited resources are guiding us to choose attributes where the resort or company is sovereign.

Brand Process needs patience. The delivery of the process takes years, even decades many times. There should be sufficient funding available to keep the message clear in long term. The Strategy Plan is directing it.
