Registration time has been prolonged for Nordic Suppliers until 15th of August, 2012. See below: Society of Foreign Travel Operators in India (SFTO) will organize an educational trip to Finland (in Helsinki) and to Estonia (in Tallinn) in September 2012. There will be also travel seminars and workshops organized separately in each cities.  We are expecting around 150 travel professionals to arrive from India. Finnair will take this group from New Delhi to Helsinki in two consequence flights in 16th and 17th of September. Overall the bednights in Finland have been in recent years from India between  50 000 – 60 000. Most of the Indian visitors are staying overnight in Greater Helsinki area. Other important destinations are Turku, Tampere, and Oulu cities and Lapland. The length of stay is very good comparing to other foreign visitors. Indians average length of stay in Helsinki is for example between 3 to 4 nights. Finnair is operating daily flights between New Delhi and Helsinki.
