ToolBox promoting St.Petersburg at World Travel Market 2012 in London

We are organizing special bloggers event for St.Petersburg City of Russia on 7th of November at World Travel Market. The idea is to getting involved modern travel media and providing for them more data concerning the destination, have face-to-face meetings, organizing FAM trips and talking possible campaigns in 2013 especially in UK market. I think this the very first time this is done by Finnish travel trade – eventhough the goal is now promoting Russian destination. The idea came into this from Mrs. Marjo Ranta-Irwin who has been putting lots of thought on bloggers. Actually she is having one blog of her own here in Finland.The event will be held at St.Petersburg stand from 10.00  a.m. – noon. There are several guest speakers telling about the destination and at the same time we are giving for the bloggers to explore the destination with a special competition and introducing a FAM trip plan for Spring and Summer 2013.This is very first time we are doing this, so we are looking forward to explore ourselves and learn also something new from this. We could say also this is following the pattern where ToolBox is doing promotional stuff not only for the home base but also internationally.
