The hosts are goSaimaa and Holiday Club Saimaa. Lappeenranta and Imatra regions are located near the Russian border onlya couple of hours away from the Finnish capital Helsinki. Holiday Club Saimaa – the new dimension of holiday Holiday Club Saimaa takes the holiday concept into a whole new dimension. In a beautiful natural landscape of South-Eastern Finland, amid 300 hectares (over 700 acres) of grounds, this spa hotel which was opened in October 2011 is packed with experiences to delight all the senses. Immerse yourself in the world of the Cirque du Saimaa spa, spin across the ice of the skating rink or hold a meeting in a box overlooking the arena.Relax in the sauna or pamper yourself with a luxurious Harmony Spa treatment. Spa hotel Holiday Club Saimaa’s rooms are located in three separate hotel wings, which all have their own unique atmosphere. You can choose between a Castle hotel which is in a hospital building from 1920´s, intimate Gant hotel and family friendly and spacious Club hotel. All rooms are non-smoking. Most of the rooms have a balcony and great view of the Lake Saimaa or hotel grounds. All rooms have an indoor access to the spa, restaurants and activities, including ice arena. You can leave your room comfortably wearing a bathrobe and access the spa without going outside. There are also holiday homes in the premises of Holiday Club Saimaa. The holiday homes are built with the latest technology to meet modern demands for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.  Day 1, 15.1.2017 (Departure from Helsinki) Train from Helsinki to Lappeenranta departs at 10.17. Meeting at Helsinki Railwaystation at 10.00 at entrance doors to quays. Your host Ms. Suvi Ahola from goSaimaa will meet you and deliver train tickets.Train arrives to Lappeenranta at 12.15. Lunch at Säräpirtti Kippurasarvi restaurant in Lemi Särä is a delicious lamb dish cooked in a wood-fired baking oven following a thousand-year old tradition. Slow baking guarantees a delicious taste experience. In a genuine Lemi way, Särä is enjoyed slowly, and you can have as many servings as you like. Tour of the old town of Lappeenranta Surrounded by the ramparts, this historic district represents the original town which was founded in a medieval trading center during the Swedish regime in 1649. Ice fishing on the ice of a lake is a relaxing experience. Lunch by Lake Saimaa at Imatran Kylpylä Spa. Dinner and Sauna by Lake Saimaa (winter swimming possibility). Accommodation at Holiday Club Saimaa.Day 3, 17.1.2017 Angry Birds Activity Park An indoor activity park for the whole family.
