ToolBox -travel marketing & consulting invites you to the upcoming Matka Workshop Day on Wednesday 16 January 2019 and also to over 10 different fully hosted pre and post tours!

Matka Workshop Day includes two parallel events, MEET FINLAND WORKSHOP and GLOBAL WORKSHOP in connection with the Nordic Travel Fair MATKA 2019.

Both of these events bring together travel trade professionals around the world and enables you to discover global destinations as well as getting an update on the wide range of products and services Finland and other countries have to offer. We are happy to welcome you to both workshops and to the MATKA Fair on 17-20 January 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.

 

Matka Workshop Day provides buyers an opportunity to meet with suppliers of your choice from both workshops for focused one-to-one appointments. Suppliers at Workshops represent destinations, towns and regions, hotels, spas, attractions, transportation companies from Finland / Meet Finland and from the rest of the world / Global Workshop. Most suppliers are exhibitors at the MATKA Fair and You can easily continue discussions with chosen suppliers also at the stands in MATKA Fair after the Matka Workshop Day.

Matka Workshop Day provides you an excellent opportunity to strengthen your business relationships and to meet all the key players in a travel trade in pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments. You can decide yourself to whom you want to meet with.

Pre and Post Tour Programmes

MeetFinland event is the biggest incoming workshop event in Finland! ToolBox –travel marketing & consulting is the official company providing pre and post tour programmes for this event. These programmes are fully hosted events. This year the tours are taking participants to:

Lapland – Levi, post tour 18.1 – 20.1
Lapland – Kemi, post tour 18.1 – 20.1
Ruka-Kuusamo, post tour 17.1 – 20.1
East Finland, closed to Russian border, pre tour 12.1 – 15.1, Lake Districts – famous of thousands lakes
Tallink-Silja is taking a group from Helsinki to trip cities tour: Helsinki – Stockholm – Tallinn, post tour 17.1 – 20.1
Greater Helsinki Area – city-break, pre tour and post tour, half day, either 15.1 or 17.1
Hyvinkää – Country holidays in Southern Finland Finland, pre tour 14.1 – 15.1
Tallinn – one day pre or post tour, pre tour 15.1 and post tour 17.1

ToolBox –travel marketing & consulting is organizing these pre and post tours for those destinations mentioned above. Please find enclosed few itineraries we are providing to you. Important information:

These tours are only for those who have been registered to Matka Workshop Day 2019 event
Registration for the pre and post tours: send your request to email: office [at] toolboxtravel.fi
You can have more than one request for pre and post tours. According to timetable of Matka2019, it gives possibility to attend max. 3 different tours.
For tours where are used ferry boats/cruise ships (Tallinn tours and Helsinki-Stockholm-Tallinn tour) we need also your passport number/code
You need confirmation from hosting destination/company to get approval for your tour participation. ToolBox is handing that communication. We ask some patience to get the confirmation due to huge volume of requests. From the past we have learned that “first come, first service” is virtue here.
VisitFinland and Finnair (Finnish national airline company) is having some of their own tours which are also organized by us. BUT those are by invitation only and ToolBox or Fair Centre of Helsinki doesn’t have anything to do with that selection process.
Pls note: Even if our pre and post tours are fully hosted, you still need to book your travel in/out to Finland/Helsinki and accommodation in Helsinki (or neighborhood) in your own expense.
