Meeting with the Thunders of Downunders! Invitation for Baltic Sea Workshop in Australia, April 2019
Australian outbound tourism towards Baltic Sea Region including Iceland and Greenland has been increasing rapidly. One could say that Nordic countries, Baltic states and whole Baltic Sea area are popular among Australian travellers. It is the only target market area where there are no direct access to be reached. Visitors from Australia needs to use hubs mainly located in Asia to travel in Europe. Therefore it is the biggest long-haul market without direct flights. The average lenght of stay in Europe can easily be almost 1 month! Also many Scandinavians and people from Baltics and Russia immigrated to Australia, which has been created a niche market of “root travellers”. They have strong interest to see and meet people where their ancestors used to live.
Our Roadshow is organized now for the 3rd time. It is covering three destinations in Australia and the dates are 8.4 – 12.4.2019:
Brisbane, 10.4.2019
Sydney, 9.4.2019
Melbourne, 11.4
