Finnish numbers are still quite modest

Testing has been identified as one important element in controlling the COVID-19 virus. A few days ago, local news in
Finland reported that the Finnish health authorities significantly increased their testing. According to Worldometers,
the numbers are still quite modest. Finland is the 26th of all European countries (44 countries). The last is the Vatican
City State.

Two colors have been used in the percentage description: green indicates that the average number of infections is
less than 8 per 100,000 inhabitants. The red color in turn indicates that there are more than 8 / 100,000 infections
per inhabitant. Some European countries invest in testing, others do not. However, it does not merely determine
how the state has generally succeeded in preventing the number of infections. We have added here also information
about EU standard, 14 infections/ 100,000 population.
