South American Roadshow March 2023

Workshop gathers together Suppliers from all over Baltic and Nordic countries. Roadshow workshop cities are Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. This is the first time we organize this Roadshow. 

Argentina is the leading outbound travel country in Latin America. The country had more than 16.6% growth recently, mainly focused in other Latin American countries. The second biggest growth-rate comes from Brazil, with 14.2% increase in outbound travel.

PROGRAMME

We organize a Roadshow in March touring in these two countries as follows. We keep the rights for the programme and possible changes. 

Day 1, Sunday 19.3.2023 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

18.00 Welcome to Roadshow. At Windsor Guanabara Hotel. (Meeting in the lobby area). Meeting other participants of the Roadshow and last minute information regarding the tour. Possible flight tickets and badges delivered.

19.00 Optional dinner after the meeting in nearby restaurant in city centre (to be informed later)

Day 2, Monday 20.3.2023 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Workshop at Windsor Guanabara Hotel

09.00   Preparations of workshop table (no roll-ups allowed in the workshop room). Electricity plug installed participants workshop table needs to be order beforehand (in the registration form). Non-stop coffee/tea station available already from noon.

10.00   Workshop starts, no prearranged meetings, suppliers’ tables are seated in alphabetical order.

11.00   Catering service without interruption of the workshop meetings

16.00   Departure from the hotel to Rio de Janeiro Airport

18.00   Flight from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo, flight time approx. 1h00m. Flight seat is in economy class. 23 kg checked luggage and 1 carry-flight luggage of 8 kgs

19.00  Arrival to Sao Paulo, Congonhas Airport (domestic flights). Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Transfer time is approx. 30 minutes.

Icuazu Tour, 1 day tour 22.3.2023

Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguazu River on the border of the Argentine and Brazil. Together, they make up the largest waterfall system in the world. The falls are shared by the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) and Iguazu National Park (Brazil). The two parks were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984 and 1986, respectively. The Iguazu Falls are arranged in a way that resembles a reversed letter “J”. The Argentina–Brazil border runs through the Devil’s Throat.

Tour includes:

Travel and COVID-19

Argentina

Currently, Argentina’s borders are open to all international travellers so long as they comply with current health and entry requirements.

Non-resident arrivals must fill in an electronic ‘sworn statement’ form within 48 hours before travelling to the country, and present proof of insurance which will cover any covid-19 related costs.

There are no vaccination or testing requirements currently in force for travellers entering Argentina. Those who are not fully vaccinated are recommended to have a diagnostic test within 24 hours following their entry into the country. 

Brazil

According to Ordinance No. 670, of 01/04/2022, the entry into Brazil, by air, of travellers of international origin*, Brazilian or foreign, is authorized, provided that the following requirements are met:

All travellers must present proof of vaccination, printed or electronically, with immunizations approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) or by the World Health Organization (WHO) or by the authorities of the country where the traveler has been immunized, whose last dose or single dose has occurred at least fourteen days before the date of boarding.

The presentation of proof of vaccination is not required from travellers:

I – with a health condition that contraindicates vaccination, provided that it is certified by a medical report;

II – not eligible for vaccination due to age, according to criteria defined by the Ministry of Health in the National Plan for the Operationalization of Vaccination against COVID-19 and published on the Ministry of Health website;

III – due to humanitarian issues, pursuant to art. 18 of the Ordinance;

IV – coming from countries with low vaccination coverage, according to list published by the Ministry of Health on its website; and

V – Brazilians and foreigners residing in Brazilian territory who are not fully vaccinated.

ATTENTION: Travellers exempt from proof of vaccination must present a negative COVID-19 test upon boarding. An antigen or laboratory RT-PCR testing, performed within 24 hours prior to the flight, may be presented.

Vaccinated travellers are not required to present a negative COVID-19 test.
