We organize several interesting and free webinars in September and. All are little bit different areas of tourism marketing operations. All these webinars takes 30 – 45 60 minutes. Webinars are conducted in English. When doing registration you can direct questions to Keynote Speakers beforehand. In the registration site you can choose which of those 4 webinars you are interested participating. After registration, you will get a link to your email. We use mainly Zoom as remote access service for theses webinars.

CSRD – how it is affecting to us in travel business?
When it comes to sustainability reporting, numerous acronyms can make it difficult to keep track. We’ll explain the latest addition to this alphabet soup: the CSRD and its significance for climate risk reporting. As part of the European Green Deal, the EU has introduced regulations, with the key piece being the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Implemented this year, it requires companies to disclose the sustainability impact of their business. New EU directive CSRD, how it is affecting to us in travel business? Because it will and not only to EU member countries, also including Iceland and Norway.

Mr. Panu Hämäri’s presentation is to show CSRD as necessary tool to be implemented in company’s
operation now. Many of you have perhaps been implementing different kinds of national or
international sustainability certificates. He has been working closely within the working group where
CSRD implementation has been conducted in practical level.
Mr. Ville Riihimäki will show Case Menevä. Menevä is SME in transportation and taxi business in
Finland. Menevä has done developments to implement CSRD and we will hear his opinion about the
process.

French and German Markets – pros and cons
French market has been coming important or very important for Baltic and Nordic markets. Ecomicial and market surveys show this pattern will continue. There are several reasons why Frenchmen come to North and Northeast of Europe. Kari Halonen lived in France in Nice and Paris but later on has been working with French tour operators and travel agents promoting Baltic and Nordic countries. Join to hear the latest trends of French market and creating your company marketing-mix based on French market.
Juha-Pekka Tuominen has been living and working in Germany and in his past years worked closely with DACH markets when working in private sector as Supplier. He is also currently running a special Group Travel Project focusing in Central European markets including Austria, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland

South and Central America as Target Market Area
The Latin America Travel and Tourism Market has experienced significant growth, with projections indicating continued expansion during the forecast period. This growth is fuelled by factors such as the increasing internet penetration across the region, which facilitates easier access to travel information and booking platforms. Additionally, improving economic conditions in many countries have resulted in heightened disposable incomes and a growing middle class, encouraging domestic and international travel. Argentina and Brazil are notable contributors to outbound travel growth, particularly favouring destinations within the Americas.
South and Central America have been seen as niche market area. Actually f.ex. Brazil and Mexico are seen quite important markets for international cruises in Baltic Sea area and as incentive travel sources. Quite many Portuguese and Spanish tour operators have good connections and subsidiaries in the market.
