ToolBox Consulting’s Annual Charity Donations

At ToolBox Consulting, we are committed to supporting charitable causes at the end of each year. For several years now, we have consistently focused on the same meaningful organizations:

1. The Cancer Foundation Finland
2. The Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation’s Forest Protection Program

Both initiatives work to protect life, which aligns with our core values and makes them particularly important to us.

The Cancer Foundation Finland relies on donations to fund groundbreaking Finnish cancer research, promote cancer prevention, and support those affected by the disease, as well as their loved ones. Each year, the foundation awards grants amounting to over €7.7 million for Finnish cancer research. Learn more.

This year, our conservation focus is on Ylpässuo, a unique and scenic fen located in Kiuruvesi, in the northwestern corner of Northern Savonia. Ylpässuo is a small-scale mire landscape, notable for its rare wetland habitats, including lake horsetail-dominated wet meadows. The area is dotted with numerous small forest islands featuring untouched natural vegetation.

The fen remains home to species such as willow grouse, and its surrounding forests host endangered willow tits. Additionally, cranberries thrive abundantly in the area. Read more about the Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation’s work.
