Located in the heart of the Baltic Sea between Finland and Sweden, the Åland Islands are a unique, autonomous region of Finland known for their stunning natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and rich maritime heritage. With over 6,700 islands, Åland offers an idyllic escape for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking a slower pace of life. Åland consists of 6757 islands situated midway between Sweden and Finland. Although Åland is part of Finland, Ålanders speak Swedish.
Åland is especially famous for its Swedish-speaking population, red granite cliffs, and beautiful archipelago landscapes. The islands boast a blend of Finnish and Swedish cultures, which is reflected in their architecture, cuisine, and traditions.
Tourist highlights include Mariehamn, the charming capital with its leafy streets and maritime museum Ålands Sjöfartsmuseum, where visitors can explore the historic ship Pommern. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, cycling, kayaking, and sailing among the islands. Kastelholm Castle, dating back to the 14th century, offers a glimpse into Åland’s medieval past. The Bomarsund fortress ruins and Jan Karlsgården open-air museum are also must-sees.
Åland is easily accessible by ferry from both Finland and Sweden, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing island getaway with a touch of Nordic charm.

1. Foreign Buyer Group
You can participate in Pre Tour and this tour will end at Naantali harbour from where the ship takes you to Åland Islands
You can also choose to come by yourself to Naantali harbour with your own expense and then join in the other group at Naantali harbour.
Third option is to take Viking Line ship, which departs 14.9 in the evening, and will arrive in Åland Islands past midnight.
2. Finnish Buyer Group
You can choose to come by yourself to Naantali harbour with your own expense and then join in the other group at Naantali harbour.
Second option is to take Viking Line ship, which departs 14.9 in the evening, and will arrive in Åland Islands past midnight, at 04.30.
3. Swedish Buyer Group
You can choose to come by yourself to Kapelskär harbour with your own expense. Recommended transportation is by Finnlines.

Requirements and Registration
There is no participation fee for Buyers attending Offline Workshop.
Buyer’s definition: tour operators, travel agents and distribution channels looking for new products and destinations and are involved in initiating or authorizing purchasing decisions on travel-related products and services. Last day to enter profiles: 15.8.2025.
Please note that travel and accommodation costs are at your own expenses, except for what is shown in the Programme Package. What you need to cover for yourself, is e.g. your travel in/out Finland or Sweden (flights to Helsinki or to Stockholm and back to your home country), additional overnights in Helsinki or in Stockholm, Kapelskär and meals which are not shown in the Programme Package.

Requirements and Registration
When arriving at the workshop, you need to register and get your Buyer badge, which allows you to walk around in the workshop area and meet the Suppliers.
Arrival/Departure Mariehamn Arrival to Helsinki or to Stockholm are not included in the Hosted Buyer package.
Regarding transportation to Åland Islands we have a deal with Finnlines ferry company which is operating from Naantali from Finland to Långnäs Harbour in Åland Islands. From Sweden Finnlines operates from Kapelskär to Långnäs. Naantali is around 182 km from Helsinki. Kapelskär locates approx. 88 kilometres from Stockholm. We are going to have special transportations from Helsinki to Naantali and from Stockholm to Kapelskär dates as follows:

The event is dedicated for companies located in Baltic and Nordic countries and interested in international markets and are offering interesting products for travel trade buyers from abroad. This event has a special theme: Archipelago & Coastline.

Catering
There is non-stop coffee/tee/water station in the workshop room.
Lunch menu includes starter, main course, coffee/tea + petit four and water as beverage. Additional orders at your own expenses. Lunch is served from 12.30 to 13.15. While registering to the event, please advise if you have any special diets or food allergies.
The lunch menu includes tap water, which is very good and potable in Finland. Any additional soft drinks and alcohol you need to pay directly to the restaurant.
Electricity
Electricity to be installed to your workshop table costs 80 € + VAT 24%/person.
Get Together Party
There is Get Together Party 15.9.2025 from 18.00 to 20.30. Location: Will be published later in July 2025.
Price: 90 € + VAT / person. Price inludes: 3-course meal with limited amount of beverages
How to participate in Åland Islands Workshop?
In 20-minutes one-to-one PREARRANGED MEETINGS you have the opportunity to introduce your company to other attendees from 09.00 to 17.00 o’clock. Meetings can be requested both ways: suppliers from buyers, media or event partners and vice versa. You can accept or reject the meeting request. Cost of Workshop participation as a Supplier – including a table, one sales representative, use of meeting booking tool, lunch, and non-stop coffee station services.
We provide minimum 3 Training Sessions prior to workshop day. It is required to participate at least in one training session. It will give you profound information on how to manage Aland Islands Workshop Digital Platform successfully.
In 20-minutes one-to-one PREARRANGED MEETINGS you have the opportunity to introduce your company to other attendees from 10.00 to 17.00 o’clock. Meetings can be requested both ways: suppliers from buyers, media or event partners and vice versa. You can accept or reject the meeting request. Shared table Two different companies can share the workshop table at this workshop. They will have one common meeting list to share; not 2 separate ones.
The price list above shows “shared table + list” as two companies together. You need to divide the price in two to find what is your own company participation cost.
Pre and Post Tours
There are 3 different service packages available. You can choose either 1 or 2 tours. If you choose two tours, we recommend to have one Pre and one Post Tour.
Pre Tours should be between 11.9. – 14.9.2025. Pre Tour can be from minimum half day to maximum 4 days/3 nights of duration.
Post Tours should be between 16.9. – 19.9.2025. Post Tour can be from minimum half day to maximum 4 days/3 nights of duration.
Service packages have different terms and conditions:
Package 1: max. 6 participants in each tour and ToolBox choose and approve the tour participants
Package 2: max. 6 in each tour and the hosting destination choose and approve the tour participants
Package 3: max. 10 participants in each tour and the hosting destination choose and approve the tour participants
The hosting destination covers the expenses as follows: transfer in/out of Helsinki or Stockholm to the destination, all accommodation, all meals, all tours and other services during the Pre or Post Tour.

Reservation validity: Room reservations made from the quota must be confirmed with a credit card at the time of reservation or paid in advance. Note: for data protection reasons, credit card information may not be sent by e-mail. The last free cancellation date for a single reservation made from the quota is 7 days prior to arrival date.
Terms and Cancellation Policy The exhibitor shall have the right to cancel the participation in Summer Fun Workshop within fourteen (14) days of receiving confirmation from the Organizer. Requests for cancellation of participation must be made in writing.
Cancellation before 31.7.2025 is
150 € + VAT %.
Between 1.8 – 31.8.2025 cancellation is 500 € + VAT %.
After 31.8 there is no refund.
