Spain Roadshow 2026 – Barcelona, Bilbao and Madrid
We are pleased to announce the 7th edition of our successful Spain Sales Tour, taking place on 15–17 September 2026 in Spain’s key travel trade markets.
This year introduces an exciting new destination: Bilbao. According to the preliminary concept, Bilbao will feature sales visits to local travel agencies and tour operators. If more than four companies register for Bilbao, the event can be upgraded into a traditional sales workshop format.

Why Spain?
In Spain, the main target market areas are:
- Catalonia / Barcelona region
- Greater Madrid area
In recent years, the Greater Madrid area has become the most important target market in terms of visitor numbers, while Catalonia remains the second most significant region in Spain.
The Spanish market has experienced substantial consolidation and many company mergers during recent years. In addition, the economy has strongly affected travel volumes and purchasing behavior. Despite these changes, Spain continues to be one of the most important outbound travel markets in Southern Europe.
We expect approximately 60 buyers to attend the events.
Participation Options
Participants may choose the most suitable alternative from six options:
- Madrid only
- Barcelona only
- Madrid + Barcelona
- Madrid + Bilbao
- Barcelona + Bilbao
- Madrid + Barcelona + Bilbao
Please note:
- Bilbao cannot be selected as a standalone option.
Workshop Format
- Madrid and Barcelona will be organized as traditional sales workshops.
- Bilbao is planned as a sales visit destination for meetings with local travel agencies and tour operators.
- If Bilbao receives more than four registered companies, the event may be converted into a standard workshop format.
Supplier Information
- Maximum supplier allocation: 30 companies
- Minimum requirement to organize the workshops: 10 suppliers

Overview
Your trip covers three major Spanish cities:
- Madrid
- Barcelona
- Bilbao
You will travel during mid-September, when Spain usually has warm and pleasant weather:
- Madrid: around 24–30°C
- Barcelona: around 23–28°C
- Bilbao: cooler and more humid, around 20–25°C
Light business clothing is suitable, but Bilbao may require a light jacket due to Atlantic weather.
