Matka Workshop Day 2025 with popular Pre and Post Tours is approaching!

Matka Workshop Day 2025 will be organized 16.1.2025 in Messukeskus (Helsinki Fair Centre). 

Pre and Post Tours have been an essential part of Matka Workshop Day programme . 

ToolBox Consulting Ltd. is the official partner of Messukeskus (Fair Centre of Helsinki). Messukeskus organizes the workshop and ToolBox Consulting Ltd. takes care of organizing the Pre and Post Tours. 

Note! All Pre and Post Tours are Fully Hosted: everything is covered (costs, tickets, services) from the starting point of the tour until your return to Helsinki.

Note! You need to purchase your transportation from your home country to Helsinki, Finland and back to your home country. These tickets are not included in the package.

Pre Tours are organized between 11.1 (Friday) - 15.1.2025 (Tuesday)

Post Tours are organized between 17.1 (Thursday) - 20.1.2025 (Sunday)

REQUIREMENTS/IMPORTANT!

You need to be registered and approved as Buyer at Matka Workshop Day 2025. Messukeskus will open the registration in September/October 2024. Note! This Pre and Post Tour registration is not registration for the Matka Workshop Day 2025!

Around 4 - 10 participants are approved for each tour, only one person/company

You can choose max. one Pre and one Post Tour.   

All tours are conducted in English.

DESTINATIONS AND THEMES

All destinations and possible themes for each tour will be published in the end of November. You can contact ToolBox Consulting Ltd. for more information. Also you will get an advertisement for the tours every week in ToolBox Consulting Ltd. "Matka Workshop Day 2025 Pre and Post Tours Newsletter".

TOUR DESTINATIONS

We are looking for to provide tours in the following tourism regions or countries:

Estonia: Tallinn and countryside

Finland: Archipelago and Coastline

Finland: Greater Helsinki Area

Finland: Lakeland 

Finland: Lapland

Sweden: Stockholm and Uppsala

Final Pre and Post Tours programmes will be published in two locations:

1. ToolBox Consulting "Matka Workshop Day 2025 Pre and Post Tours" event website

2. Official Matka Workshop Day 2025 website. See title "Tours".

APPROVALS FOR EACH TOUR

You need to be approved for each tour you are interested in participating. There are no limits of tours the Buyers is able to participate, but there are allotments for each tour. If the allotment is already fullybooked, we will inform the Buyer to seek for another tour.

MEETING POINTS FOR EACH TOUR

We have several Meeting Points regarding Pre and Post Tours. Our dispatcher will be waiting for the participants in each Meeting Points as follows:

1. Kiasma Contemporary Art Museum (All Walking Tours of Helsinki)

2. Helsinki Central Railway Station (All tours which use train in transportation)

3. Helsinki Harbours (All tours where cruise vessels are used (Estonia and Sweden as the destination. There are four Harbours in Helsinki, please check carefully where the tour starts from).

4. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (All the tours which include flights to the destination)

DISPATCHING

Our Dispatcher will have a sign "Matka Workshop Day 2025 Pre and Post Tours".

Our Dispatcher will be in the Meeting Points as follows:

- Walking Tours - 30 minutes prior to departure

- Train departures - 30 minutes prior todeparture

- Cruise departures - 60 minutes prior to departure

- Airline departures - 90 - 120 minutes prior to departure

We create an WhatsApp group for each tour to keep in touch and communicate with the participants

Your company description plays an important role when the hosting destinations choose the participants for the tours.

In the Registration Form we ask for the information related to each tour: DOB, your nationality, passport or EU identity card number, do you need a visa entering in Finland (Schengen countries), do you have any food restrictions or allergies, your shoe size and height in centimetres, and your outdoor outfit size. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation deadline for Pre and/or Post Tour is 31.12.2024. After that date the cancellation fee is 250 euros + VAT (if applicable) for each cancelled tour.

ToolBox Consulting Ltd. keeps the right to cancel the tour if there are less than four participants. This cancellation would happen latest than 31.12.2024. Also ToolBox Consulting assists the participant to find another tour.
